With so many different sites and so many different genres, how do you know what site to target for traffic with your articles?

If your site is smaller or just starting out, targeting the bigger sites (ie. the ones at the top) will net you very little traffic. Target the smaller ones first and once you receive a decent amount of traffic, you can start going after the big guys.

It’s easier to get to the front pages of the smaller social news sites which will then bring the traffic needed to eventually get to the front of bigger social sites.
Undoubtedly the way to start your own domino effect is to write great content but after that you will need to market it to the right sites.
